Hello and welcome to ToBeSmall workshop and store! My name is Oleg.

I was around five when my mom built me a paper dollhouse. I still remember those fragile toy, even though it was broken few days later. So when my friend asked me to make her a dollhouse, i decided, that it would be interesting to try! And even though my main job is related to electronics, working with materials became my passion. Since then I've learnt a lot about material cutting, paintings, I searched textiles with nice prints and made many drafts of houses.

Modern design, minimalistic forms, scandi trends – these are the ideas that inspire me in my work. I want to create nice items that could decorate any kids room, bring joy and delight. At the same time reliability has the same importance, so I scratch paint, bend walls, and push the floors to be sure that the model can withstand the load.

I would also like to say few words about my friend Alexander, who helps me at the workshop. Being very patient and optimistic person, he can always find good words when something goes not the way I thought it had to.
